All of our activities are organized by volunteers. So we’re always looking for engaged people who want the contribute to the neurodivergent community. There are different areas and ways to get involved.
Event Organizer
As a community event organizer, you are responsible for planning and running events. You can bring your own ideas to life or continue existing formats and support as a co-organizer.
How you can benefit
- Meet new people with similar interests.
- Shape events based on your own preferences (activities, date, location).
- Being part of an inner circle of 10+ dedicated volunteers.
- Actively contribute to the flourishing of the community.
- Learn new skills and apply them in a low-pressure environment (organization, communication).
- Exchange with other event organizers through WhatsApp group and benefit from their experiences and ideas.
- Possibility for free association membership.
What you do as an organizer
- Event planning (defining topic, activities, location, date, etc.)
- Communicating your event (via Meetup & WhatsApp)
- (Co-)hosting (e.g. organize materials, welcoming, moderating, etc.)
What you should bring
- Some initial experience in organizing small events, ideally.
- You want to improve on your communication and organizing skills, or already have solid skills in this area.
- You have already attended at least one of our events and are part of our WhatsApp community.
How to become an Event Organizer
This process supports us to find out if it’s a good match:
- Fill out this form.
- Meet with a board member to get to know each other.
- Co-organize your first event with an experienced organizer.
- You’ll be officially welcomed as a Community Event Organizer and can start (co-)organizing community events.
